Handmade Organic & 100% Natural Anti-Aging Detox Dry Face Mask

first impression - intrigued, I don't believe I have made a mask before. I can't wait to mix it up and see what kind of texture it will be. It smells like a health drink so I'm hoping it will help my skin. The first time I mixed it up, I used about a dessert spoon of mask to about 3/4 dessert spoons of water (cold). The mask mixed easily but the packet meant I had a bit of spilling, the mask is so fine that it reminded me of icing sugar and the only way to describe the way it did blow into the air. It applied really well and as I expected it too. It did dry out towards the end of the 20 minutes but I didn't find it uncomfortable, there was no need to add any extra water. It rinsed off easily with a wash cloth. There was no noticeable changes straight away, my skin just felt clean. The next morning, my skin looked less red and my breakouts looked less angry and some had gone. Each time I have used it my skin improves. The spots on my forehead become less noticeable and my skin feels cleaner and doesn't look as shiny. This mask has helped my skin. The mask has helped with my spots and it has made them feel less angry. My skin feels less congested and clogged and it feels like the mask has really helped to make it smoother.

Looked simplistic but addressed what was needed in a face mask, ie; pot not essential for powdered mask product. I was intrigued by the wellness ingredients such as spirulina and nettle. The fragrance was very subtle of mown grass but not too intrusive. The texture reminded me of grains of sand and was quite dusty. The appearance was very green in colour, no doubt a reflection of the wellness ingredients. I was excited to try and see if any wellness ingredients transferred to my skin. When mixed with water it developed into a thick grainy texture (a little like mud). It was very cold when applied to the skin, I used the back of a spoon as I felt that gave the best coverage with least mess. It smelled pleasant. It remained on the skin well and didn’t slide off and began drying quite quickly. After using this product weekly for four weeks, I found that it did remove the oil and grime from my face. The packaging is very simplistic but suits the product and is easy to use.

This is a new area for me to be testing. I don't normally prepare and use a detoxifying dry face mask and this one contains green clay and activated charcoal. It was far simpler than I imagined; the mask was easy to prepare and apply with me becoming very quickly competent. On opening the packet there was little fragrance however the texture, once made, was strangely addictive so my partner and I would use Saturdays as spa mornings and what I thought would be difficult became fun. This mask is a product that requires time put aside to pander to your spa requirements. You WILL develop rather soft skin and the process soon appears quite normal, I was more than surprised. I used the Unapologetic Skin mask on my face and I enjoyed the feeling of a soft plump following application. The more that you use it, the softer your facial tissue will become. Unapologetic Skin face mask contains all the ingredients that you might expect, plus a few that I didn't. For a man who does not normally use a face mask I find myself not looking forward to the first Saturday morning without a mud-pack and my partner. A new area for me to try and I'm now one of the 'mode'. I've poo-pooed this kind of treatment in the past, now I'm one of the team.

A handy travel friendly pouch! And who doesn’t want anti ageing effects… i’m wondering if it can live up to this description but intrigued by the ingredients too. I’m excited to see if it brightens and clears my skin without drying it out, as some clay type masks can. I found the mask really easy to make up from the pouch; mess free with a bowl and spoon, and non-clumping when mixing. There's a surprising amount in the pouch, with weekly use I think it'll last a good couple of months at least. It's a crazy cool colour! It spread easily onto the skin and felt cooling and pleasant, with no irritation. After letting it dry as suggested it came off with a warm washcloth and a bit of persistence. My dry chapped skin was a bit red, as expected after a clay mask and hot cloth - but I was pleased to find my skin looked bright and taut without feeling dry or tight, and with no dullness. I really enjoyed making this a part of my weekly Sunday self-care routine. I worried it might be dry, but no - every time I used it, my skin looked bright and fresh, clean but not tight or dry. I noticed after a couple of weeks my pores looked smaller. I liked that I could wander around doing day to day jobs with it on while it dried! My skin is smooth and less dry with regular use. It seems to do a good job of exfoliating and brightening without drying, and my pores look smaller. I don't particularly notice any change in elasticity or fine lines, but I think that would be a very big ask... I actually wouldn't change a thing about this. I liked the consistency, texture, portability, how easily it washes off - it's a great mask, feels like a spa day at home. I like the travel friendly packaging, the clear labelling and ingredients. It is transparent in its 'free-from' creds.

My husband does use face masks every now and again, a few times a month to give his skin a little extra hydration and TLC. He was interested to try it out and liked the idea of a clay mask and thought the different ingredients sounded interesting. On first use, I assisted my husband in putting the mask together, we used 4 level teaspoons of the mask powder and added 3 teaspoons of water, this worked ok, however as he had a beard the mixture was bit too much, so he ended up using the same amount of powder to water (3 teaspoons of each) . After using the product his skin did feel very soft and the next morning his skin did have a glow to it! After continuing to use the mask weekly (using 3 teaspoons of both water and powder) and leaving on for 5-7 minutes his skin does look refreshed and it feels very soft. The mask claims to tighten and clean your complexion while removing impurities, which we both felt it did, his skin has continued to feel very soft and his skin does glow after use. He liked the effects. Overall my husband liked trying out the mask. He liked the fragrance, and he liked the effects. Price wise, he thought it was ok. My husband felt that the product appeared very natural and he felt it was a good example as a free from product.
